Netflix made a huge announcement today about the next and final season of the acclaimed sci-fi mystery series, stranger things.
The official Netflix account on Twitter has taken to the social media platform to reveal the name of the season 5 premiere episode of the popular The Duffer Brothers show, and fans are losing it over the title as they are convinced that this is a clue to the return of their favorite character, Eddie Munson who is played by Joseph Quinn.
Although Eddie was presumed dead at the end of season 4 of stranger things, fans refused to believe he wouldn’t return to the show’s finale in its final season. And the revelation of the title of the first episode of season 5 seems to have fueled this fire of hope all the more since Internet users seem completely sure to see the character of Joseph Quinn again.
Netflix arouses fan suspicion over Eddie Munson revival
Netflix tweeted about the next season of stranger things and revealed that its first episode will be titled “Chapter One: The Crawl.” And that’s all. Those four words are all it took to send the fandom into a frenzy of elation.

One of the most popular and persistent theories among these is that Quinn would reprise his role in the series finale with Eddie becoming a vampire.
The D&D Theory on Eddie’s Return as Kas the Vampire
In Dungeons & Dragons, the game that marks the beginning of everything, Kas, in addition to being a human vampire, is also Vecna’s right-hand man and is said to have been loyal to the supervillain for the longest time. . Eventually, however, Kas betrays Vecna and ends up defeating him by killing him instead. And fans think Eddie would be resurrected as Kas the Bloody Handed in Season 5.

This particular fan theory has been swirling around for a while now, and fans haven’t just brought it up out of thin air. In fact, it has everything to do with certain aspects of the fourth season, the very first episode of it to be precise, in which Finn Wolfhard who plays the role of Mike claimed that Kas is the one who kills Vecna, while the Hellfire Club met. to play D&D.
Not only was Eddie bitten by the Demobats in the Season 4 finale, audiences didn’t exactly get to see what was happening to his body after the attack, as Dustin was forced to leave the Upside Down with his best friend dying after bleeding. And that’s exactly why fans expect him to make an epic return in Season 5 as Kas.
