In 2017, Noah Syndergaard jokingly said baseball was his girlfriend, wife, partner, or significant other. Whatever fans want to call it.
Syndergaard doesn’t have a wife to heat his house, but his baseball does a better job of keeping him company through the ups and downs.
The Philadelphia Phillies pitcher has not been married.
“Baseball is my significant other. #focus #LGM,” Noah Syndergaard tweeted on December 12, 2017.
His fans found him a comedic genius after he dropped the tweet with a screenshot of a status drop-down with “single” highlighted. Making a serious situation fun takes skill. His mind was off the charts as he continued to poke fun at his relationship.
“I always lift heavy loads, but in a [smarter] way,” Syndergaard said. “Like last year, it was not the [smartest] thing. Last year I did a lot of pull-ups, which are mostly lateral exercises. This year, I didn’t do a single pull-up.
Even though he had a romantic relationship with a few other women in the past, none of those relationships ever progressed to the point where he wanted to pop the question.
Syndergaard spent his youth in the town of Mansfield, Texas, located just outside of Dallas. He is now 30 years old. The right-handed hitter didn’t show off his baseball skills until his senior year of high school, so he skipped college and went straight to the big leagues, signing with the Blue Jays in 2010.
From then on, his professional life took a new direction. In 2017, Major League Baseball player Syndergaard was romantically involved with Instagram model and podcast host Alexandra Cooper.
She posted several images of herself and Noah together on her various social media platforms, leading many of her followers to assume they weren’t kidding and that their relationship was genuine and serious.
They started dating in April 2017. However, Noah posted a tweet on December 12 implying that they had broken up.
