Jason Momoa Is Excited About DC Studios Hierarchy Change

The Arrowverse/DC TV property suffered a major setback when The CW canceled Stargirl, Naomi, Legends of Tomorrow, and batman. Warner Bros. Discovery also sent shockwaves through Hollywood by canceling the bat girl movie that was in the works for HBO Max, though principal production wrapped in the spring as the studio tried to capitalize on a tax deduction to help pay off its $3 billion debt.

While their intentions have yet to be announced in detail to the public, it looks like a longtime DCU actor will see one of his dream projects come true. Aquaman and Justice League actor Jason Momoa responded to DC Studios’ creation with Gunn and Safran leading in a recent interview, giving nothing but respect to the two leads while revealing that ” one of my dreams “ happens under their direction.

What is Jason Momoa’s dream project?

As Momoa returns to the DC Universe in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which has been pushed back to December 2023, it’s unclear what’s next for the franchise actor. Given the lack of details from James Gunn and Peter Safran, as well as the fact that they haven’t revealed what they want to do with DCU, this seems like something Momoa has wanted to see for some time.

That’s all he was willing to say, but there’s already speculation that Momoa was hinting at another Justice League film. While that’s one possibility, there are clearly many more – however, it’s completely safe to assume that whatever this secret project is will feature his character!

With Henry Cavill back in the DC Universe as Superman in black adam and wonder woman 3 making significant progress, it would be exciting for fans of the franchise if Jason Momoa teases a Justice League or a DCU tie-in movie that brings all of these characters together in some way. Hopefully, it won’t be long before Momoa’s dream DCU project goes public.
