Marvel Studios now has the option of bringing the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside the Avengers, but a recent quote implies their arrival could be delayed. Marvel VP Hints At Introducing More Mutants In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Marvel Studios now has the opportunity to bring the x-men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside the Avengers, but a recent quote implies their arrival may be delayed. Following Disney’s massive acquisition of 20th Century Fox, MCU fans are wondering when the franchise will introduce the popular mutants that were left out of Marvel Studios’ narrative.
Nate Moore, producer of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, discussed the possibility of X-Men’s Storm visiting Wakanda, as well as the other Marvel characters he would like to see appear. Namor and his undersea kingdom Talokan are introduced to the MCU in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Ryan Coogler intended to tease Namor in Black Panther, but the plan was scrapped. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be inspired by comics, with the two nations facing each other.
Marvel Studios Vice President Nate Moore explained when the MCU might start including its own version of the X-Men in an interview. When asked if Storm would appear in Black Panther: Wakanda Foreverhe said the character “The relationship with Wakanda in publishing is quite interesting.”
“Well, Storm’s relationship with Wakanda in publishing is quite interesting. Obviously, we could be a few years away from the X-Men, so I’m not sure we’re there yet. Who else from Wakanda haven’t we featured? I mean, there’s a pretty deep bench, actually. And most importantly, I think, the Ta-Nehisi run introduced a lot of key characters that would be fun to export. Even characters like Vibraxas, who are more Fantastic Four characters. But yeah, it’s a pretty deep bench. I think there are definitely a lot more stories to tell about Wakanda.

Other popular Wakanda-related Marvel characters include Storm from the X-Men. Storm plays an important role in Wakanda in the comics, even ruling the country as queen with her then-husband T’Challa.
When will Marvel Studios introduce X-Men into the MCU?
The MCU has gradually introduced Mutants, which will most likely culminate in the x-men later. Marvel also teased the next superhero team by including the 1990s theme. x-men animated series in Ms. MarvelProfessor X in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madnessand Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
As indicated in previous interviews, it looks like the MCU is still a long way from delivering a mutant-centric story as a group. This is likely due to a report that Marvel Studios would be required to bring back former Fox actors in any project before 2025, which resulted in Patrick Stewart returning as Professor X in Doctor Strange 2although these characters are used earlier to some extent.
