Zachary Levi has shared an official poster for the upcoming DC Universe movie Shazam! Fury of the gods.
With Shazam! Fury of the gods now complete, Zachary Levi has taken to his official Twitter page to give fans a fresh look at his titular hero. The actor shared a poster for the highly anticipated movie, showing off in full costume as Shazam. You can check out the poster below.
Shazam! Fury of the gods wrapped filming in August 2021 and was originally slated to hit theaters this Christmas before being delayed to 2023 alongside the flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The three films, as well as blue beetleare the latest DC Universe projects overseen by Walter Hamada, the former president of DC Films.
Earlier this month, Warner Bros. Discovery announced Walter Hamada was replaced by James Gunn and Peter Safran, with the duo overseeing DC’s film, television and animation efforts under a new banner known as DC Studios. Gunn and Safran took office on November 1.
Directed by David F. Sandberg from a screenplay written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan, Shazam! Fury of the gods stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, DJ Cotrona, Grace Caroline Currey, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Marta Millans, Cooper Andrews, Djimon Hounsou, Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu , and Helen Mirren.
