Hugh Jackman’s camaraderie with Ryan Reynolds is one of the internet’s most famous friendships. But you might not know that he shares a very strong bond with another MCU star, namely Evangeline Lilly. Long before The ant Manshe linked up with Hugh Jackman in 2011 real steel. And since then, they share a rather strong bond. But what’s crazy about their friendship is how Hugh Jackman helped her through her pregnancy. Don’t worry… It’s not what it sounds like!
Hugh Jackman – The Human Pregnancy Detector
At the time, contact music reported that Evangeline Lilly actually called The glutton actor her own personal “pregnancy test” because Jackman helped her realize she was going to be a mother very soon. Here’s what she had to say:
“Hugh Jackman was my life-size pregnancy test. When I was shooting my last scene of the movie, I was about a month pregnant and I was 99% sure I was pregnant, but I had just returned from Africa and I wasn’t sure if I felt sick because I had malaria or because I was pregnant.
While it’s good to know, you’ll find Lilly’s directing incident even funnier.

Lilly went on to describe what exactly happened with Mr. Jackman during rehearsal:
“I had to do this scene where I jump into Hugh’s arms, which isn’t a bad thing unless I’m a month pregnant… I run up to him and jump on him and in doing so, I feel like my stomach tears… I just felt like it had torn apart. They said, ‘Okay, that’s a great rehearsal, let’s do it again…’ was really painful and at that moment I knew I was pregnant!
Quite a story huh!!! Well, it would be nice to see if Jackman and Lilly were to reunite on another project and be a part of more crazy happenings like this. Maybe it could happen in the MCU!

A Possible Jackman-Lilly Reunion In MCU?
Hugh Jackman is set to reprise his role as Logan in Dead Pool 3but we certainly don’t expect this to be his last outing as he should definitely come back in Avengers: Secret Wars too. And that’s where the Wasp could also appear after Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (and even Avengers: Kang Dynasty). So an unexpected team-up between the Wasp and Wolverine would not only be surprising, but it would bring two friends together on set.

Until then, let’s wait and see how Ant Man 3 sets up the next two Avengers movies. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17, 2023.
