REPORT: ‘Deadpool 3’ To Feature Owen Wilson’s Mobius

Dead Pool 3 could feature the return of Owen Wilson’s Mobius.

The first season of the Disney Plus series Loki featured Owen Wilson’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the veteran actor playing the role of Mobius M. Mobius, a Time Variance Authority agent who teams up with Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief. Wilson is set to reprise his role for the second season of Loki but a new report claims it is also in Dead Pool 3.

According to insider Daniel RichtmannOwen Wilson’s Mobius should appear in Dead Pool 3, with the character said to have a “big role”. Details regarding how Mobius would factor in the story of the third Deadpool movie are being kept under wraps.

The cast of Dead Pool 3 so far features Ryan Reynolds as Merc with the Mouth and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Deadpool 2 Star Zazie Beetz is reportedly in talks to make an appearance as fan-favorite mutant Domino.

The first two Deadpool films were produced by 20th Century Fox before the studio was acquired by The Walt Disney Company. Dead Pool 3 is being written as the first film in the series set in the Marvle Cinematic Universe.

Shawn Levy directs Dead Pool 3 after working with Ryan Reynolds on free guy and The Adam Project. The next Marvel Studios project also marks a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman as the two worked together on real steel.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick develop the Dead Pool 3 script after writing the first two episodes of the series. The Molyneux sisters worked on an earlier draft of the project.
