Boston Bruins Mitchell Miller was born to parents John Miller and Sheli Miller in 2001. The 20-year-old defenseman was raised alongside his twin sister and brother in Sylvania, Ohio.
John Miller, Mitchell Miller’s father, has publicly defended his son on numerous occasions. An avid hockey fan himself, John was the one who pushed his son on his hockey journey.
In 2016, when Mitchell Miller admitted to his accusations of bullying classmate Isaiah Meyer-Crothers, John was in court with the attorney alongside his son.
Over the years, Mitchell Miller’s parents have fiercely defended their son. John and his wife, Shelli Miller, went on to say that their son would never do anything he was accused of.
Activities include slamming Isaiah’s head into a locker, tricking him into licking a push pop cady that had been wiped up in a bathroom urinal, and using the N-word on him.
Shelli Miller, Mitchell Miller’s mother, even went on to say that Mitchell doing all of this to Isaiah was kids being kids. The Miller family was silent about the incident before video of the incident was found.
Shelli was also accused of calling Isaiah’s mother and harassing her for overreacting and saying, “Do you know Mitchell did the push pop underwater first?” To date, neither Mitchell nor his parents have apologized to Isaiah or his family for all he experienced at the hands of his bully.
