Jennifer Aniston has been one of the most famous television actresses. There is no denying that she was at her peak during those FRIENDS years. She has acted in quite a few movies since then, but her stature and popularity never reached what it used to be. And now, with social media creating more and more “celebrities”, she claims the “real” Hollywood is dying because there are no more “movie stars”! Unfortunately for her, it caught her under fire from the fans.
How Hollywood Changed
There has been a huge paradigm shift in the entertainment industry. Competition hasn’t just increased with streaming services, as content creators have turned to YouTube, TikTok, and several other outlets to gain fame. Ultimately, good entertainment sells however it is delivered. And it has allowed many talented people to break through the ranks and become household names. So, in a way, Jennifer Aniston is correct in her feeling that the number of “Ture Movie Stars” has dropped significantly.

Anniston participated in an exclusive interview with Danielle Pergament of Allure and the FRIENDS star was quite hospitable the whole time. Pergament told one of her friends that she was interviewing Aniston, and he replied:
“One thought is this. No one will ever be famous the way she is. This kind of mass-fame phenomenon has been burning so hot for so long, it’s just not feasible today. She’s like a silent movie star among a generation of TikTok dipshits.
The journalist showed this text to the actress, and her response was interesting to say the least. She says:
“Wow. Oh, that just gave me chills. I’m kinda choked up. I feel like he’s dying. There’s no more movie stars. There’s no has more glamour. Even the Oscar parties were so much fun…”
Although she’s right, fans haven’t taken this lightly.

The answer:
I mean, I kind of agree with you, but her statement is so weird it’s like she’s saying “oh no, why are these peasants among us rich people”.

The true interpretation of what Aniston said:
she talks about iconism and glamor and y’all talk about ‘people always win oscars’ that’s right the oscars no one tunes into anymore because of social media which is her point of view . people are more likely to read oscar stories on twitter than watch them

This next thread though…
Marley & Me, Bruce Almighty, Horrible Bosses, We’re the Millers. Just to name a few. Each of them has crossed the $100 million mark in the domestic market.

While Aniston failed to be as successful as she was during FRIENDS, she had some good performances to offer us. One of his underrated films is office space. And you should know that she wasn’t talking about herself. She was talking about movie stars in general. So, maybe we should give it some slack, don’t you think?
