Months after the release of Thor: Love and Thunder, Chris Hemsworth has released some never-before-seen footage. Fans who had mixed feelings about the movie were surprised to see the actor post something out of the blue. The film itself may not have received as much love, but the actor sure does.
Since the film’s release in July 2021, it has received a lot of criticism regarding multiple factors that made it what it was. In that regard, seeing a more humorous take on the film and the actor was a nice sight for fans. He recently posted on his Instagram regarding the People’s Choice Awards and getting fans to vote for his film and with it released new images for Thor’s latest adventure.

Chris Hemsworth Shows Thor’s Workout Routine
In his latest Instagram post, Chris Hemsworth posted a reel where Thor, in his “daddy bod”, can be seen preparing for a fight. He was practicing and showing his martial arts skills to viewers. This, despite being a satirical take on the character, was fun for audiences as they could see Thor doing iconic moves from different films.
Among the moves, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor was seen lifting a giant slab which he easily threw away. This then turned into the actor showing off his training skills by making Po de kung fu pandathe iconic moves of in order to prepare for his next big enemy. While on the one hand Po was learning to use and maneuver his chi, perhaps Thor was trying to become an airbender, much like in Avatar. This reel, sudden as it was, was a joy for audiences to see after the backlash that Thor: Love and Thunder had been facing for a while now.

Thor and Chris Hemsworth make their fans smile
Although the movie didn’t do very well, fans were thrilled to see the actor back in his iconic role. Hemsworth’s own brother commented on the reel, poking fun at how it looked more coordinated than it usually is.
Fans pointed out how the movie had so much potential and actors who could reach that potential with the talents of Christian Bale, Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth as well. Watching the video made them yearn even more for a movie that could do these characters justice.
Thor: Love and Thunder may not have been the best works of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it certainly added more to the story and growth of Thor as a character.
