Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth made his MCU debut with the 2011 Thor. The actor was one of the members of the avengers and went on to reprise her role in several films. However, following the events of End of Game, Thor, Hulk, and Hawkeye are the only Avengers to continue their MCU journey. The MCU star reprized his role once again in the 2022 film Thor: Love and Thunder. It did pretty well at the box office, but fans weren’t too impressed with Thor’s character arc in the film.
The film was not well received by fans, which caused a massive backlash against the film’s director, Taika Waititi. Now, months after the release of love and thunder, the main star shared his experience working on the threequel and its impact on him.

Chris Hemsworth shares the pressure of being an MCU star
During a chat with Men’s Journal, Chris Hemsworth opened up about the pressure of being an MCU star. The Aussie actor has been playing God of Thunder for over a decade and seems to have finally taken his toll on the Thor star.
The Extraction star shared that even after being in the industry for so long, he still struggles sometimes. He shared that he always reaches out to his mother to talk about old scars appearing.
The spider head the star said:You wake up thinking, ‘Is the movie going to work? Did I let people down? Did I do a good enough job? Did I promote it correctly? Are the fans responding? He further mentioned that it is very difficult to put so much effort into something and not care about the outcome. He called her “almost PTSD.
The quote seems to allude to the negligence of the director of Hemsworth’s last film, Taika Waititi. The director has repeatedly stated that he has no interest in humming love and thunder with the ongoing MCU events and took the opposite direction for the film.

Taika Waititi Takes MCU Movies As A Fan Challenge
Taika Waititi joined the MCU with the 2017 film Thor: Ragnarok. He directed the film and also portrayed the Kronan warrior, Krog. After the 2017 film, he also directed Thor: Love and Thunder, which was released in 2022.
The film failed to impress Marvel fans, and they were disappointed. However, this was not the first time that the free guy the actor failed to impress fans. His previous take on Thor’s story in Ragnarok also failed to live up to fans’ expectations.
After the film’s release, Taika Waititi was quick to admit that he had no prior knowledge of Marvel comics and characters. When promoting Thor: Love and Thunder, the Boy The star was asked if he understood all of the MCU’s intertwined stories after his second film in the cinematic universe.

Responding to the question, he said he didn’t research all the Marvel storylines because there were too many characters and he didn’t know half of them.
“I just want to make my movie, put things in it, and then have them say, ‘You can’t do this because it ruins this whole story’. Waititi said.
Fans were unhappy with this statement as it indicated that Waititi was anti-comic book. He went on to release a similar statement about his thoughts on Love and Thunder.
After his last appearance in the MCU, Marvel hasn’t revealed any projects that Chris Hemsworth might be a part of. However, he is expected to join Tom Hiddleston in the upcoming season of Loki.
Chris Hemsworth is currently starring in the TV series No Limits with Chris Hemsworthwhich is set to release on Disney+ on November 16, 2022.
