Chris Hemsworth proves he’s nothing short of an Asgardian god in real life. Fame Thor went through extreme training procedures for his new National Geographic Channel show titled Unlimited. The 39-year-old actor has taken part in deadly challenges that promise to train his body to live a healthier and longer life.
The hard work that Extraction The actor goes by the fact that God of Thunder’s physique in the MCU is no stranger to anyone. This is all the result of an extremely difficult training procedure as the actor has already revealed on several occasions. But this time, he’s pulled off some of the deadliest real-life stunts to test just how far the human body can go.

The Thor: Ragnarok The actor finds himself facing some of the most dangerous tasks of his life in the all-new Disney+ series. These situations will lead to a healthier and longer life by challenging the body to show its true potential.
For this, Chris Hemsworth had to face various deadly challenges like swimming in freezing water, not consuming food for 4 days, going through Navy SEAL exercise and pulling a truck. The spider head actor, under the supervision of world-class experts, goes through it all. As for the logic behind this, Modupe Akinola, a social psychologist, explained that by successfully going through these situations, his body would not face stress in more typical situations. She explains that regular stress can be the cause of various diseases such as diabetes and cancer.

The show would feature Hemsworth performing a Navy SEAL drill which requires him to be pushed underwater with his hands locked behind his back and his feet restrained. But the most difficult challenge according to the actor was swimming in freezing water. In Chris Hemsworth’s experience, Arctic water numbed his mind:
“It was crazy. Halfway through, I felt like I was being stabbed by a thousand knives.”
As the Australian actor said, this series and Thor: Love and Thunder were shot at around the same time. And as a result of which, Hemsworth even tore his ligaments and injured his body due to uninterrupted training.

According to early reviews, the series is very good looking, and Hemsworth’s charm is one of the show’s biggest positives. It also features appearances from various members of the actor’s family.
