Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released in theaters on November 11 in the United States. The film was critically acclaimed and viewers are huge fans as well. You could say that wakanda forever was a film that woke Marvel Studios from a deep slumber and reignited people’s love for modern world theaters picked up by streaming sites. The brilliant acting, interesting characters, amazing background music, and beautifully told story made watching the movie in theaters an interesting experience.
The whole experience was quite bittersweet for the fans. While they were happy to see events unfold, Chadwick Boseman’s apparent absence was hard on the public. Actor Winston Duke who plays the character of M’Baku in the film was a factor that eased the tension a bit. His improvised comedic timing came as a sigh of relief, something the audience desperately needed.

Winston Duke knows how to make people laugh
While Marvel movies are known for being hilarious with their little treats, wakanda forever decided to take the less steep route. Since the sequel honored the legacy of late actor Chadwick Boseman, the film was quite emotional for viewers. However, there were a few scenes in the movie that were guaranteed to get a laugh from the audience. One such scene involves actor Winston Duke.
Dora Milaje, the all-female Special Forces unit, is a group feared by Wakanda’s worst enemies. The last thing anyone would want is to lock horns with the sweep launcher team. Well, except for M’Baku. M’Baku called the leader of Dora Milaje, Okoye, a “bald demon » while nonchalantly nibbling on a carrot. This particular dialogue had the whole theater bursting into laughter.
Now Duke has taken to Twitter to reveal the iconic phrase wasn’t even in the script. It was, in fact, improvised by him on the spot. He said the intention behind his improvised dialogue was to act as a “vent for a pressure cooker » which basically means he wanted to blow off some steam.
Replies to his tweet were filled to the brim with positive comments. Fans said they couldn’t believe the line was dreamed up by Duke just yet. Some even called this line one of the funniest lines in the entire MCU.
Duke’s hilarious improvisation was indispensable in the film. M’Baku was one of the main reasons why wakanda forever is a healthy experience.

People have gone so far as to say that M’Baku did the whole movie. Fans pointed out how he was like an older brother to Shuri, who was just learning to be a warrior like his brother, T’Challa. M’Baku was praised for being kind to Shuri, and fans quickly saw and appreciated how much the character had grown since the first movie.
The only problem with Mbaku is that there aren’t enough characters in the MCU

The kindness you showed Shuri when you talked showed how your character grew between the movies.

AS A FATHER, you did the whole movie for me. The way you introduced yourself when Shuri asks you to follow her… was outstanding
M’Baku was asked to advise her and you did. But when it came to her action, he gave her the freedom to be wrong and come right and to herself

You were so good and your dialogue with Shuri was top notch.
I can’t wait to see more and more M’Baku in this universe.

M’Baku has made a fairly permanent place in the hearts of Black Panther Fans. Some even hope the character will get her own TV show soon. With many rumors of Wakanda getting a few of their own TV series, maybe M’Baku could have one all to himself. After all, fans love the character! Duke’s comedic timing surely adds the icing on the cake too!
