And although the black adam The star may have hinted at the possibility of a crossover between the two superhero franchises, he recently clarified that neither he nor WB want their beloved DC Studios to go to war with Marvel.
Of course, The Rock didn’t hold back when it came to promoting his superhero persona of Black Adam, as he kept boldly asserting that no other superhero or villain could defeat Adam Teth, be it the Man of Steel or the MCU’s Avengers. “I see and understand what you are saying. And I’ve been asked this question a lot. Are we going after… When I talk about the new era of the DC Universe with Black Adam, are we going after Marvel? The former professional wrestler feels there is no room for a feud between the two as he “will always be a Marvel.” He even acknowledged Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and remarked on how distinct and unique the two entertainment companies are in their own ways, leaving almost no reason for bad blood.
“Kevin Feige, I love him. He’s a buddy and a lot of these guys, all of them by the way, all of these superheroes are all my friends and I’m very happy for them. But there’s no Only one Marvel. There is only one Avengers. But also there is only one DC.
Johnson further pointed out that, with the utmost respect for the MCU, he does not “I want to be like Marvel” and focuses entirely on DC’s portrayal. “I want us to be our own brand, our own identity, and we’re proud of that,” the San Andreas explains the actor.

“So the fans, for me, if they’re speaking loud enough because I want to listen to the fans with what we’re delivering, then we should be working towards that. And if Henry Cavill’s return to the DCU as Superman is any evidence, then Johnson’s audience wishes are still his orders.
Maybe one fine day, this dream too will come true.
