The Batman is single-handedly one of the best-executed films to portray this crime-fighting vigilante in a way that has never been done before. Introducing a Bruce Wayne who bore no resemblance to any of his previous iterations was a bold step the creators took with production, and it paid off. Not only was the film able to break through at the box office, but it was also one of the most critically acclaimed Batman films to hit theaters.
But now DC Films wants to put even more heart and soul into this project by introducing a supervillain from the Batman universe.
With recent talk of the film’s sequel, fans on the internet are demanding that the next rumored supervillain, Mr. Freeze, face off against the world’s greatest detective, none other than award-winning superstar Christoph Waltz.

His character was presented as someone who had a moral duty to serve justice, even when necessary by any means. With that mindset, he didn’t hesitate to do what he did to Gotham City and openly challenged Batman to try and stop him. With the Riddler now in jail, fans have turned to another actor they think is perfect to play Mr. Freeze.

Christoph Waltz, who has worked in many blockbuster and classic films, now turns out to be the fans’ first choice to play Mr. Freeze in the upcoming Batman 2. Fans have been on the internet asking DC Films to make this dream come true, and honestly, they don’t seem to take no for an answer.

Why does Batman win?
With the introduction of Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, we were given a Batman who had nothing but vengeance to fight the world. A broken Bruce who had nothing to do with his flamboyant, playboy self, but rather a depressed recluse who wanted nothing in the world but rid of his city’s crime and filth. This vision of the vigilante was the reason this film was such a hit with fans and banks alike.
