Kevin Conroy, the quintessential Batman, died at the age of 66 earlier this week. He was famous for his voice roles in Batman: The Animated Series, Batman: Arkham Games, and many other similar projects. The Empire State Building, one of New York’s most iconic landmarks on which Gotham City is heavily based, was lit up this week with a Bat Signal in its honor. Conroy’s deep, gruff voice led him to fame as the lead character in Batman: The Animated Series which took place from 1992 to 1996.
