“I also just want to thank you in a way that I probably didn’t have at the time but during some of my toughest times. [when I was] being the most decried and wronged by the media, and also sometimes by the public.

She pointed out that Markle isn’t looking for any kind of attention, coming to her and many other women just so she can help and be there for them. Public attention was not her goal, rather she wanted to let women who felt lost know that they had a place in this world.
