According to the premieredate.news website, the upcoming season of Whitstable Pearl will feature a total of six episodes.

In the first episode, a former soldier is investigated for possible child abduction while on vacation in France with his son and the boy’s mother. The boy lives in France. Pearl and Mike decide to work together to find the missing youngster.
