Marvel Cinematic Univese newcomer Dominique Thorne dodged a question about Mephisto Stone heart appearance.
While doing the rounds of the press for Black Panther: Wakanda ForeverDominique Thorne was asked about the recent Stone heart rumors involving Mephisto. However, during her interview with ComicBook.com, Thorne refused to even reference Mephisto when asked about her potential role on the show.
“Oh man, the show is on its way,” Thorne told the site. “We just wrapped filming, in fact, on November 2 and I think fans have a lot to sink their teeth into, especially if they enjoyed what they got to see of Riri Williams in a whole another world that wasn’t his. I think they could have a good time, stepping into a world that’s his.
According to reports, Mephisto is making his MCU debut towards the end of Stone heart’s series of six episodes. The character is reportedly played by Sacha Baron Cohen, but Marvel won’t comment on the casting.
Created by Stan Lee and John Buscema, Mephisto’s Marvel history dates back to 1968 The Silver Surfer #3. The character is inspired by the demon Mephistopheles from the Faust legend and is often described as Marvel’s version of the devil. He has already been played by Peter Fonda and Ciaran Hinds.

Stone heart follows Riri Williams, a brilliant MIT student who creates the most accomplished armor since that worn by Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. Thorne made her first appearance as Ironheart in Black Panther: Wakanda Forevercurrently playing in theaters.
Chinaka Hodge is the editor of Stone heart series while Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes are directors. Hodge is also executive producing the project alongside Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout and Kevin Feige.

The cast of Stone heart also features Jim Rash, Lyric Ross, Harper Anthony, Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich, Shea Couleé, Zoe Terakes, Regan Aliyah, Shakira Barrera, Sonia Denis, Paul Calderón and Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola.
