Since Elon Musk bought Twitter, reports of major changes in the company have occupied all media outlets. Many senior executives were fired, while changes such as app users having to pay for their verified status brought a lot of negative publicity. And now, with reports that Musk has closed Twitter’s offices to staff after several resignations, a public figure like Mark Ruffalo has lambasted the tech billionaire who appeared in iron man 2. The Hulk actor even went so far as to call him a dictator!
Twitter in turmoil!
For the uninitiated, Elon Musk recently gave his employees an ultimatum to commit to a “hardcore” work environment, and hundreds of employees quit on Thursday ahead of his ultimatum deadline. Now the chaos has escalated as the owner has just retaliated by closing Twitter’s offices to its staff members without giving them any prior notice.
NEW: Twitter has just alerted employees that as of today, all office buildings are temporarily closed and badge access is suspended. No details were given on the reasons.

Hashtags like #RIPTwitter, #TwitterDown, #Mastodon and #Myspace are trending and people are sure Musk is not fit to run a business like Twitter. Even Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo has shared his opinion on how Musk runs his business, and it goes without saying that Ruffalo’s words aren’t nice (or wrong!).

Ruffalo asked Musk to quit Twitter a few days ago, and now he wrote the following in his latest tweet:
“Dear @ElonMusk, it’s not like people haven’t tried to warn you. You just don’t know how to run this kind of business. No more dictators.”

Ruffalo is right, but publicly Hulk Smashing Musk might come back to haunt him later because clearly the Tesla owner doesn’t take criticism very well.

What’s happening on Twitter…
According to the New York Times, the Slack team of Twitter employees showed very little activity when Musk’s team spent days evaluating posts or tweets that disapproved or criticized his actions of firing dozens of employees. ’employees. Last month, Twitter’s owner claimed the company could face bankruptcy if more cash isn’t generated in the near future. So he fired people left and right and shared plans to lay off around 3,700 people in his first week. Those who objected were publicly fired and many other changes were made to the work schedules of existing employees.

Apparently, the owner of Tesla demanded that people be prepared to work 80 hours a week in the coming days, and no more free food would be provided to them. Several altercations have also been made over the company’s work-from-home policy. Twitter is in a massive crisis phase and it clearly needs someone sane for crisis management. But who would oppose Mr. Musk? Can this even happen? It probably should be, but expect more chaos in the days to come!
