Charlie Cox might just be one of the examples of the love and affection an actor can develop with his audience by giving his performance 100%. He rose to the top of the popularity charts after portraying Marvel Studios’ Daredevil in the Netflix original series of the same name, where we saw him play the role of Matt Murdock, a lawyer by day and a vigilante fighting the crime at night. The depth the series went to was why daredevil was such a hit with fans. Unfortunately, the series had to be canceled due to various unfavorable circumstances.
But it seems Cox’s popularity far exceeds that of the character he portrayed in the hit Netflix series.
With the recent news from DiscussingFilm, it looks like Netflix has even more expectations from Charlie Cox, as he has once again been tapped by the OTT giant to star in their upcoming original series.
Charlie Cox will star in the new Netflix original series
daredevil was the launch pad Netflix had been looking for for so long to create its own version of The MCU, but on the small screen with relatively underground superheroes who worked in the shadows to protect people from everyday dangers. To do this, they collaborated with Marvel Television to bring these heroes to life. and so, Charlie Cox was brought in to play the role of Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil.

But due to unfortunate timing, Marvel Studios pulled all licenses from Marvel Television to create a separate small-screen MCU that would tie into the grand scheme of things with Marvel Studios’ major animated movies. This in turn led to the cancellation of Netflix’s beloved Daredevil. But it seems Netflix doesn’t want to get rid of Charlie Cox that easily. With recent news and first sight photos, we now have confirmation of the daredevil the star’s return in the next Netflix original series Treason.

The upcoming Netflix series will see Charlie Cox play the role of a British double agent who works with British intelligence in his home country, but also spies for American intelligence in the aftermath of World War II.

Charlie Cox will return as Daredevil in the MCU!
After countless fans demanded that Marvel Studios bring back Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, the cinematic juggernaut finally gave in and presented a new Disney+ original series. Daredevil: Born Again will see Cox reprise his role as the Red Devil with a few new tweaks to suit the needs of the MCU. We have already received a small preview of his next role in Marvel Studios She-Hulk: lawyer, where we also saw him and Jennifer Walters having an intimate time with each other. This means Daredevil is here to stay.
