Ant-Man, who Paul Rudd plays in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, gets a threesome with the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Scott Lang, who had a notable contribution to defeating Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, will face a new supervillain Kang the Conqueror. Kang appeared earlier as an alternate version of the character, He Who Remains in the first season of Loki.
Regardless of whether Kang is defeated by Ant-Man or not, Kang is expected to play a major role in Marvel Studios’ next phases.

Kang’s introduction to the MCU via Ant-Man Threequel
Marvel fans aren’t surprised that Kang the Conqueror is supposed to be the next big baddie to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kang, who will be played by Jonathan Majors, apparently has many alternate versions across different dimensions, each wreaking havoc.
However, the introduction of his character as an antagonist in the trio of The ant Man was a pretty good move by director Peyton Reed. While Ant-Man’s character is often seen as weak compared to other superheroes, his battle against one of the greatest villains could show Ant-Man’s unseen potential that audiences were unaware of.
In a chat with Empire Magazine about the film, Peyton Reed revealed how Kang’s character will have a profound impact on the MCU, with big ripples that would lead to Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
“Kang The Conqueror in our movie is a very different character,” Reed said. “He is someone who dominates time, he is a warrior and a strategist.” Reed continued, calling Kang the antagonist of all time. “It’s interesting to me: taking the smallest, and in some people’s minds the weakest, Avenger and pitting it against this absolute force of nature.”

The confrontation between Scott Lang and Kang the Conqueror has fans believing that Ant-Man 3 could be the end of Paul Rudd in the MCU.
What would Ant-Man 3 entail?
Ant Man 3, which would introduce the character of Kang to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, would see Scott Lang take on Kang in an effort to save his family. As the trailer shows, the movie would have sucked Lang’s family into the Quantum Realm with no chance of escaping.
As they venture through, Ant-Man encounters Kang the Conqueror, who blackmails him into doing something in exchange for the safety of his loved ones.
While the movie could be a good farewell to the Ant-Man character if Kang beats him to death, there’s also the possibility of a David vs. Goliath storyline where the supposedly weaker Ant-Man character could emerge victorious. . If that happens, the various alternate versions of Kang across dimensions would ensure the character’s return for later films.
