David Ayer hints at the possible release of the Ayer Cup
Acclaimed American filmmaker David Ayer recently responded to a seemingly agitated fan’s tweet about the possibility of releasing the director’s cut of the 2016 film, suicide squadclaiming that “there’s a real shot.”
When asked if the guardians of the galaxy director James Gunn still plans to move forward with the Ayer CBut, the former U.S. Navy submariner responded with a subtle but somewhat affirmative answer about the film’s future.
“He’s always been a good guy. Was incredibly respectful to me. As for my haircut – Of course I want it to be seen. And I believe there is a real shot. It just won’t be tomorrow.

Gunn, however, also seems to support the statement of the Bright director, stating how the two communicate about certain things, one of which is hopefully the Ayer Cup get a release.
I’ll add what David said about him, both inside and outside of Twitter (yes, we communicate outside of Twitter – believe it or not, our DNA doesn’t start with an @ ).
While this could still be seen as a step up from radio silence on the whereabouts of the Ayer Cupthere’s still a lot of unpredictability when it comes to its release, which, as Ayer said, won’t be happening anytime soon.
DC fans are counting on James Gunn’s word for the Ayer Cup
After years of chasing after DC and Ayer to release the Ayer Cup and even by launching a brand new hashtag on Twitter with the name “Release the Ayer Cut”, the DC fandom may well get their wishes in the future.
With Gunn supporting the kings of the street’ filmmaker on the subject of Ayer Cup Seeing the light of day, fans are counting on the superhero franchise’s new leader to make it happen after such heated anticipation, and they’re definitely thrilled about the same.

No further information on the Ayer Cup has yet been revealed, including full details on its potential release. But with the way Gunn and Safran are steering the course of the DC Universe, hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.
