A new promotional image for Wonders gives fans a first look at the film’s trio of superheroines.
Serve immediately Captain Marvel and recent Disney Plus shows Wanda Vision and Ms. Marvel, The wonders is set to hit theaters next year. Details about the film, which is directed by candy man director Nia DaCosta, are being kept under lock and key, but we finally get a first look at its main characters.
A promotional image for Wonders surfaced online this morning. The image features Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, with all three Marvel Cinematic Universe heroines dressed and ready for action. See below.
Wonders would have picked up where Ms. Marvel stopped by and sees Carol Danvers teaming up with Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau. The film also features the return of Nick Fury, with Samuel L. Jackson reprising the role after his six-part Disney Plus run. Secret Invasion.
Brie Larson most recently appeared as Captain Marvel in the post-credits scene of the Ms. Marvel finale on Disney Plus. The show’s official synopsis reads: “Marvel Studios” “Ms. Marvel” is a new original series that features Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. Avid gamer and voracious fan-fiction scribe , Kamala is a mega superhero fan with an over-the-top imagination, especially when it comes to Captain Marvel, yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home, that is, until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with superpowers, doesn’t it?”
Ms. Marvel stars Iman Vellani, Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat and Farhan Akhtar. Episodes of the series were directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, with Bisha K. Ali serving as head writer. It is currently available to stream on Disney Plus.
