New Concept Design Shows Zoe Kravitz Wearing Classic Catwoman Comic Book Costume For Sequel The Batmanin which she appeared opposite Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne.
Warner Bros and DC The Batman presented a gritty, grounded version of Gotham City during Batman’s second year as a crime fighter. Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne wore homemade body armor as Batman while Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman wore a simple hood as Catwoman.
With a sequel to The Batman now officially confirmed, there may be opportunities to see these characters’ costumes evolve as their stories continue. This design imagines Catwoman by Zoe Kravitz adopting her iconic comic book design.
Instagram artist “jaxsonderr”‘s design puts Zoe Kravitz’s Selina Kyle in her comic book costume as Catwoman, giving the character her signature cat ears and all-black bodysuit. It borrows heavily from Catwoman’s “New 52” look. This saw Batman, sometimes enemy, sometimes lover, incorporating a pair of goggles into his mask. Check out the design below.
Whether or not Zoe Kravitz’s Selina Kyle reunites with Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne in the sequel The Batman is not yet known. The movie ended with Selina leaving Gotham, while Batman was forced to admit he couldn’t leave the city that still needed him.
However, if the following The Batman brings its central characters closer to their iconic comic book designs, this Catwoman concept from Zoe Kravitz could be a good indicator of what to expect from the DC Comics movie.
Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the titular hero, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as The Penguin and Barry Keoghan as The Joker.
