Recently we had a chance to try and review the recently released Stealth 600 Gen 2 Max headset and for anyone unaware Turtle Beach is well known in the gaming headset market as perhaps the one of the best gaming headset vendors these days, and for good reason. With a wide range of products and an even wider price range, they have established themselves as one of the biggest gaming peripheral vendors in the market.
Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX – High specs at a low price
Designed specifically for Xbox, the Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX headset also comes with a USB adapter that plugs directly into any console, PC or other hardware and is instantly connected and usable. With ‘Immersive 3D Audio for PS5’, you will feel like you are in the middle of a firefight, a swarm of rats in the stadium when playing a sports game, and there is no no problem. There is also a setting called “Superhuman Hearing”, which will be of great use especially for Call of Duty players, as the aforementioned 3D audio is amplified until you can hear your enemies opening a door or firing a flurry of gunfire from hundreds of yards away.

Anyone familiar with Turtle Beach headsets will be aware of the battery life issues of previous models, however, that’s a distant memory with the latest version boasting a whopping 48 hours of battery life. I played the whole campaign A Plague Tale: Requiem, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as well as part of the latter’s multiplayer over the course of a week. At that time, it was charged only once. Towards the end of the battery life, the headset would periodically warn me that it was nearly dead with a series of beeps when powering it on, but other than that there was no noticeable degradation in the quality of sound hitting my eardrums.
Another big advantage of this new headset is the clarity of the “flip to mute” microphone. While playing with a friend on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, he unfortunately had his ears full when my dog decided to try turning over his food bowl. His response made me realize how good the mic was, “unfortunately for me, I heard every word of your loud yells at the misbehaving dog, with no interruptions, crackles or stalls”. The only thing I can criticize about the headset as a whole is that after three or four hours of use my ears hurt from prolonged use, but after a quick adjustment the pressure would go away and the helmet would be comfortable again.
Especially with the current sales running until Christmas, the quality of this headset far exceeds its price, but even at full price it would feel like a steal while actually using it, and this is the one I will continue to use for a long time. come.
