The American capitalist ideal has been realized to overflowing in the Scorsese epic led by the always charming Leonardo DiCaprio and a new debutante, Margot Robbie.

Over the years since the wolf of Wall Street debut, Margot Robbie had claimed how insecurity and the desire to quit acting continued to plague her until she received a reality check from her own mother. In an interview with the DailyMirrorRobbie revealed,
“Honestly, I know that sounds silly now, knowing how big the movie got, at the time I thought, ‘Nobody’s going to notice me in this movie. It doesn’t matter what I do in this movie ’cause everyone’s gonna focus on Leo [DiCaprio] and all.'”

Earlier at a BAFTA event, the Babylon star also claimed, “I’m not going to lie, I had a few shots of tequila before that scene because I was nervous…very, very nervous.” referencing the infamous nude scene that featured her opposite Leo DiCaprio. When she expressed her wish to leave her career to her mother, the conversation quickly led to Robbie realizing that was not an option.
“And I remember saying to my mom, ‘I don’t think I want to do this,’ and she just looked at me, completely deadpan, and said, ‘Honey, I think he’s too late not to. It was then that I realized that the only way was to move forward.
Margot Robbie now boasts of a diverse filmography that usually demands her presence in a starring role. The actress appeared in the DCU as the infamous Harley Quinn in two suicide squad movies and ran his own superhero banner in Birds of prey. His last outing amsterdam received mixed reviews and the public awaits the launch of Damien Chazelle Babylon.
