Just a year and a half ago, Amazon Studios’ hugely successful adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s adult comic Invincible had scenes that became a main topic of internet meme culture. Omni-Man beating his son ended up spawning a barrage of memes that showed many different interpretations of this format.
Being able to unwittingly tap into internet meme culture has been one of the many accomplishments the series has been able to elicit from its fans, not to mention its impressive critical and commercial performance. His brilliance only gifted Invincible its own dedicated fanbase with thousands of newcomers demanding a second season of the TV series, and Jason Mantzoukas promises it will be amazing.

Rex Splode Voice Actor Jason Mantzoukas Teases Invincible Season 2
One of the most interesting characters from Amazon Studios Invincible is Jason Mantzoukas’ character, Rex Splode, a young but arrogant superhero who grew into a much more mature character after Omni-Man’s betrayal in Season 1 of the animated television series.

And now he’s teasing fans about the upcoming second season of the show. Invincible was roughly confirmed for a second season shortly after its premiere in March last year, with an additional third season also getting approval from Amazon Studios.
The 49-year-old actor recently spoke to Collider in which he had this to say about the second season of Invincible–
“It will be amazing, period.”
Fans can guess and hope that they can get a lot more information about the planned follow-up to the first season of the TV series. Because judging by everything Mantzoukas has to say about it, it looks like production hasn’t even started yet.

Working on Invincible is a dream come true for Jason Mantzoukas
Amazon did a great job hiring Jason Mantzoukas as a voice actor for the TV series. It’s not only because of the quality of his work, but also because the Brooklyn nine-nine The star was already a fan of Robert Kirkman’s adult comic even before it got the green light to be adapted into a TV show.

Mantzoukas has now shown his appreciation for being able to voice a character in an animated adaptation of one of his most treasured comics. During the same interview with Collider, the Design the actor had this to say about his time working as Rex Sloan’s voice actor-
“I’ve always been a comic book fan. And so I’m someone who read ‘Invincible’ from when it first came out until it ended, whatever, 15 years later. This is a book that I digested in 15 years. And this story is so familiar to me, and I love it.
It also paints a bright future for the TV series, adding-
“I think this is going to be a really iconic show.”
Whether Invincible manages to once again increase the hype and popularity generated by the first season, it will surely make its way into the list of the greatest anime TV shows of all time.
