In an interview, Chris Hemsworth, who made a name for himself with his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, explained how he was compared to Arnold Schwarzenegger. The actor was very disappointed by the question, despite the similar physique, appearance and story of the films they both directed.
Hemsworth was convinced that there was a big difference in the genre of films made by him and Arnold Schwarzenneger. His films are somewhat of a mix of subgenres compared to the action films often made by Schwarzenneger.

Chris Hemsworth’s disappointment at being compared to Arnold Schwarzenegger
Chris Hemsworth began his career on the big screen with the role of George Kirk in the popular film star trek. What followed was the actor’s direct path to stardom as Hemsworth starred as Thor at Marvel Studios. The actor’s dream of working in Hollywood for a long time came true after he landed the role of Thorappearing in a bunch of later movies like The Avengers.
“It’s hard not to say that playing Thor and being a part of the Marvel Universe was rewarding because it shaped my entire career and so much of my life in such a positive way,” Hemsworth once said in an interview.
The actor’s success led him to become a big name in Hollywood. His popularity, along with his appearance, physique and filmography has led some to believe that Chris Hemsworth is the modern-day Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, Hemsworth wasn’t too keen on the idea.
“I was asked the other day, did you always want to be the next Schwarzenegger? And I thought that’s what you got from what I did? I was really bummed out, like I thought, you know, I picked those scripts and I liked them because they had real actors and real story and real heart, and sometimes with movies, the action overshadows everything else.

The Extraction The actor believed there was a difference between the films he directed and those of Schwarzenegger, as his films were more of a mix of subgenres, unlike the action films in which Schwarzenegger mostly participated.
Would Schwarzenegger be part of a superhero movie again?
Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a popular name in Hollywood for as long as anyone can remember. The actor has had quite a history with action movies, appearing as Terminator in the terminator franchise. The actor even played the sworn enemy in batman and robinhowever, it was the last of his exposure to superhero films.
However, despite the backlash received by batman and robin and some career decline after the release, the true lies the actor wouldn’t back down to give the genre another chance.
“I think all of these movies, if they’re well-written, are entertaining. If it’s Batman or Batman and Robin, or X-Men or Spider-Man – all of them. If they’re well-written, they have a nice life. People enjoy them and you can see the recipes they make all over the world. So, yes, of course I would.

It would be a real treat for fans if Chris Hemsworth and Arnold Schwarzenegger appear together in an action or superhero movie, as allies or rivals.
