Henry Cavill is back as Superman after a long wait, however, it seems his contract has yet to materialize. With that in mind, there might be a possibility of where the negotiations would lead. From the looks of it, fans have already started planning whether or not his contract will work out and who else will replace him.
This has already included a list of actors who could either take up the mantle one day or have played the character at least once before. Although, among all these names, the one who seems to lead the dance happens to be Brad Abramenko, who played the hero of James Gunn’s finale Peacemaker.

Brad Abramenko won hearts playing Superman in Peacemaker, making him the next best choice for a Superman after Henry Cavill
Brad Abramenko made his debut as Superman in the finale of Peacemaker. Although the announcement of the same was not received very well, that quickly changed after the actor adorned the iconic costume for the first time and appeared on screen. It made fans immediately accept him as a version of the Metropolis hero they wouldn’t hesitate to revisit.
His appearance has become a concept welcomed by the public, but only to a certain extent. When the actor started a petition to return as the character for a second season, fans were adamant that Henry Cavill be a part of this universe and have him be the Superman who would take on Peacemaker. Now, it might seem because Cavill’s contract isn’t solid yet, fans don’t seem to care about Abramenko as DC Universe’s Superman. His vigor and appearance as a hero changed many people’s minds and his charisma in return drew many fans towards him.

Fans on social media jumped with excitement and opinions as to who else might be suited to play the role that Henry Cavill made so special. Although there were several actors before him and more after him, the image Cavill made of Superman lived on in every fan’s heart.

This, however, is also contradictory with some fans not supporting this idea either. They are against the idea of having also said that they would see anyone else play the character.

This led to fans starting petitions and creating hype for Abramenko’s version and how it was as good and impactful as Cavill’s. Essentially making the portrayal of the actor similar to that of the witcher actor. Although there has been no confirmed news on this, Cavill’s contract is still ongoing and would take time to fully build.
