Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are ready for their next project together – Barbie. The upcoming comedy film based on the hugely popular childhood toy is directed by Greta Gerwig. In the latest episode of Dua Lipa’s podcast, At your service, Greta Gerwig revealed she was terrified of working on the star-studded film, Barbie. She added that there was a lot of confusion about what the film’s plot would look like and compared her situation to dizziness.
“It was terrifying. There’s something about this place where it’s like “well, anything is possible”. It was like dizziness to start writing it. For example, where to start? What would the story be?
Gerwig said that while the nervousness about the project was there, she was also excited to take on the challenge. She told Lipa that any project that makes her feel like the end of her career is usually the best. It seems that, for Gerwig, life is about taking risks.
“That feeling I had was knowing it would be a really interesting terror. That’s usually where the best stuff is. I’m terrified of that. Anything where you’re like, ‘This could be a end of career’, then you’re like, ‘OK, I should probably do this.’
