While promoting the 2019 edition Uncut Gems Adam Sandler shared how he received the “best call ever” after starring in the film. When he appeared on The Bill Simmons Podcast after the release of Uncut Gems, Sandler shared that he got a call from Oscar-winning actor Daniel Day-Lewis.

Adam Sandler will join Jennifer Aniston in Murder Mystery 2
Adam Sandler starred alongside Jennifer Aniston in the 2019 Murder mystery. The comedy mystery was based on the book by Agatha Christie Murder on the Orient Express. The film followed Nick Spitz and his wife Audrey, who go on vacation to Europe and end up being framed for the murder of an elderly billionaire.
It was released on Netflix to mixed reviews. The streaming platform has nevertheless renewed it for a sequel which should be released next year. Murder Mystery 2 will bring back Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston as a happily married couple.
