The Mayo clinic neurologist investigated the major effects of Covid-19 on the brain and long-term neurological infections on Covid-19. Most adults at the age of 65 and above are highly developing Alzheimer’s disease-related dementias. It was proved by the Mayo clinic neurologists. People at the age of 65 and above that have a higher risk of these diseases.
Only people who have neurological problems are affected by such diseases. People with neurological disorders might increase the illness with the effect of Covid-19.
Mostly, the virus affects people who have the diseases such as heart problems, lung disease, and diabetics. These people are at a high risk to affect by the Covid-19 virus. Social determinants of health also contribute to increasing health risks and outcomes.
Some researchers think that unbalancing the immune system can be reacted to the Covid-19, and it may lead to autoimmune disease. After being affected with Covid-19, some people are facing problems with lung infections and neurological symptoms.
It was observed in some patients who are hospitalized with Covid-19. And the people who are with some other diseases are at higher risk to infected with the Covid-19 virus. Those infected with the virus lose their sense of smell and taste until they recover from that virus. Not only the sense they have body pain and less immune energy.
Those who have lung problems were one of the major problems for breathing. Mainly, Covid-19 directly attacks the lungs of humans.
The researchers are planning to study blood neuro-filament light protein and other proteins such as tau, beta-amyloid which are associated with Alzheimer’s disease. They also display changes in cognition behavior, and daily functions, which are related to a neurological disorder. This research was funded by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders.
The research of Mayo clinic stated that Covid-19 also infects the nervous and some other diseases are also affected along with Covid-19. If the people who are infected with Covid-19 lose the sense of smell and taste, these are neurological symptoms. Those who are with heart problems, diabetics, and neurological disorders are highly affected with Covid-19.
