It is also considered that the multisystem inflammatory syndrome is the major side effect of the delta variant of the covid 19 in children between 12-18 years.

According to the CDC, the officials also collected the data from July till December, and majorly this was the peak time for the delta variant in the country. Also, it must be noted that the booster shots were not authorized for this age group till November and by the end of December only it was approved by the FDA.
Although the current study has been mainly focused on the lethal version of coronavirus. Also, the CDC officials are claiming that the results are good but if we mix the omicron variant results with the current data as it won’t be just because enough data is not available to administer the side effects of the omicron on this age group.
