According to the former Prime Minister, there is no certain news regarding the availability of booster doses. Indicating the Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, he said that the politicians who cannot speak up on the status of the booster must call “gutless” fellows. Although he did not take the name of anybody, the indication was evident from his style of addressing.

The chaos started when the politicians kept numb whether they had taken the booster or not. Of course, millions of people received both shots of the COVID-19 vaccines.
This led to a favorable situation. However, the doctors predict a more dangerous scenario as the Omicron variant has completely different properties than the previous strains. Hence, to fight against this variant, additional precautions are necessary.
Where many Americans are still unvaccinated, the supply of the extra booster shots is the responsibility of every state. Pointing out the incapability of the present “politicians,” Trump uttered the words demeaning the ministers’ status. The former PM said that he had taken the booster shot in an interview. Besides, he blasted out, saying that most politicians are not ready to speak about the booster status.
Moreover, they are not clarifying whether they have taken the shots yet or not. If the politicians do not have the guts to speak out the truth, how can they protect the country and its people?
According to the estimation of Donald Trump, the average number of Americans who benefitted from the vaccines are more than ten lakhs. So, there is no doubt that the vaccines are genuinely effective. But to combat the fast-spreading of Omicron, boosters are also essential.
Such a statement from Trump came into the public only after an interview of DeSantis was released. In that interview, the journalist asked him whether he had the booster shot or not. Ron did not give any direct answer to this question. Instead, he said he had taken the standard shots just like many others. Further, he added, “It is individual choices what shots they want to take. No one can force them for a particular action”. Such a statement from a personality of this stature was not preferable to many. Trump is one of them.
On being followed to the office, Christiana Pushaw said, “This is absolutely a person’s private decision. No one can interfere in personal medical actions”. But Florida Politics was not ready to leave the matter like that. To get the complete answer, the authorities put a lot of pressure. Finally, it was revealed that DeSantis took only one shot of the prevailing vaccine in the country. This implies that he has not taken the booster dose.
Donald Trump is continuously abusing such an action where a politician’s statement is misleading. No one should fear telling the truth when the medical concern of the whole nation is at stake. It is something irresponsible. The gutless people are not true leaders. Therefore, the thrashing is not unjustified to many natives.
Till now, the situation of the US hospitals is not under control. Adults and children are getting infections at lightning speed. The doctors are thus advising every adult and eligible child to take the vaccines. Also, they are suggesting jabbing the booster shots as soon as possible to curb the spread.
