The world changed its look when the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2 virus) approached with such a sudden gust. Humans worldwide never faced such a massive problem in terms of health when compared to this updated world of science, technology, and medical facilities.
Albert Bourla’s Success Of $1Million And Strong Foot In Humankind
With lots of struggle from many parts of the world, solutions started to come up in the form of vaccines. Out of them, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine gained a firm ground in the medical field and the marketing line.
Albert Bourla is the Chief Executive Officer of Pfizer. He took an enormous decision regarding the vaccine, which in reality proved to be a blessing in disguise as it became one of the leading coronavirus vaccines in the world. With his determined spirit and bold approach towards a new beginning, he sets great goals, which become fruitful for everyone.
Albert Bourla will be winning $1 million from The Genesis Prize Foundation, as declared on January 19, 2022. This prize-giving started in 2014 to honor the person’s success in the path of his career, for the welfare and the betterment of the human world, and a strong attachment with the Jewish with the collaboration of two parties: Genesis Prize Foundation and The Jewish Agency.
The foundation is set with $100 million. Usually, the award ceremony is held in Jerusalem, but this ceremony had been called off due to the pandemic. To receive such a prestigious award takes significant time, effort, and hard work. Through an online drive, it was seen by The Genesis Foundation that Albert was the one who received the highest number of votes in which 71 countries took part.
The vaccine acted as the ray of hope for Bourla and its company. Being awarded such a huge honor is a proud moment for Albert, and the entire Jewish community takes pride in it. Albert was born in Greece, Thessaloniki, on October 21, 1961. It is tragic to know that Albert Bourla’s parents were among those few people who struggled and fought back to live in Thessaloniki’s Jewish community. This was the same community that during World War two was obliterated.
With such pain and hardships, Albert, the son of a Holocaust survivor, decided to contribute his prize in the name of all the victims of the Holocaust. This commitment towards his community people is much appreciated, and no doubt, the people look up to him for such endearing steps.
He is known for his humble nature as he always acknowledges his team for taking more significant steps during this pandemic. A man who belongs to the Jewish community holds excellent faith in teamwork because he believes that unitedly we can repair the world, and that’s what God wants. It was a tremendous victory for Albert Bourla as Pfizer was put on the front seat so that it could reach out to the world to fulfill all its needs with the coronavirus vaccine.
The permission for vaccine usage was given to the U.S. in December 2020. This is the first vaccine to be permitted for usage in Europe too. Israel first started the vaccination drive for its citizens, and as time passed, Israel wanted more and more supplies of vaccines.
But the demand was so much more that it came to the point that the vaccine was not available. But Israel made a great deal, and therefore it became one of the fastest-growing countries as they resisted COVID-19.
There were some issues in Israel regarding the availability of the vaccine in terms of money and social state. The good news is that Bourla wins the prize with ups and downs. And he joins the list of other winners like the American actor Michael Douglas, Israeli- American actress Natalie Portman, Robert Kraft, and other people who have done well in their life to achieve such success.
Success comes on the path of challenging work and lots of sacrifice and compromise, and Albert Bourla is an excellent example to put forward. Not only did he do great work for his team and himself, but also he served humanity with a more significant cause, and therefore he is the worthy person to be honored with such an achievement.
