The Early Life Of Jungle Pam
Pamela Hardy, popularly known as Jungle Pam was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Jungle Pam was born in the year 1951 and was active in funny car drag racing in the 1970s.
Jungle Pam met the famous Jim Liberman, famously known as Jungle Jim when she was only 18 years old and their meeting happened two weeks before her school graduation.
After completing her primary education, Jungle Pam enrolled at the West Chester State University but her acquaintance with Jungle Jim made her drop out of the University and went to become a funny car drag racing star.
What Was Jungle Pam’s story?
Jungle Jim met Jungle Pam while he was driving on the streets of West Chester, Pennsylvania and for Jim, it was love at first sight. Jungle Jim invited Pam into one of Jim’s parties and Pam attended the party.

Shortly after this, Jungle Jim and Jungle Pam started dating and Pam began to appear on the funny car drag racing events of Jungle Jim. Pam didn’t know that Jim was a well-known car drag racer and it was Jim who introduced Pam into the world of funny car drag racing. Pam became popular in the 1970s with funny car drag racing as she was the girlfriend of the popular funny car drag racer, Jungle Jim.
In a male-dominated game, Jungle Pam who was not even a driver became popular right after she joined Jim’s team and was a sensation of the game. Jungle Pam was always seen supporting Jim and his team was the cheerleader of the team and was also considered as the lucky charm of Jungle Jim.
The couple was also named Jungle King and Jungle Queen. The influence of Jungle Pam’s presence in funny car drag racing was so large that many people both tickets only to see Jungle Jim and Jungle Pam.
Death Of Jungle Jim
Jungle Pam who has been such a positive and energetic face of funny car drag racing was shattered after the death of her boyfriend Jungle Jim. Jungle Jim died in 1977 when his Corvette car met with an accident and he was severely injured on his head in the collision.
Jim was only 31 years old when he died. The death of Jungle Jim left Jungle Pam shattered and alone. Jungle Pam didn’t have any clue about what to do with her life without Jim but her passion for funny car drag racing made her stick into the sport and she traveled worldwide and appeared in many funny car drag racings.
Where Is Jungle Pam now?
Presently Jungle Pam is 65 years old and is a married woman with two children. After the death of Jungle Jim, Jungle Pam married Fred Frey and later got divorced. Jungle Pam then married Bill Hodgson.
Jungle Pam is often spotted at funny car drag racing events and people still gets excited when they see her. Jungle Pam will always be Jungle Pam and the fans of funny car drag racing still respect the legendary woman who dominated a male sport.
