As per the Coast Guard report, it is confirmed that a single propeller plane crashed near Big Pine Key, in Florida, and District 7 conducted a search for this plane.
In addition, they confirmed two people may have been on the aircraft. Lana confirmed that the second person is Alexandra’s boyfriend Tommy.
Lana’s only sister Alexandra Tufo is an employee of the popular investment company KKR. She is also a part of the entertainment industry as her sister. She was a part of many shows such as Live With Regis and Kelly.
According to The Flip Wars alum, Alexandra and Tommy have been dating for a while now and they traveled a lot together. It was also a journey like that.
Both of them were leaving Fort Lauderdale Airport on Sunday and Alexandra contacted her and said that they were planning to go to Key West at 9:30 AM.
Yesterday a couple reported that they had met Alexandra and Tommy from the airport and both of the couples started the journey together. Lana explains that the couple was worried about the weather condition and they used radio to inform Alexandra and Tommy that they were returning as the path was unsafe.
As per Lana, her sister and Tommy continued the previously planned route despite following the warning of dangerous weather.
The Coast Guards have been searching for the aircraft but they didn’t find anything to date. On the other side, Lana believes that their aircraft may have gone down the water near Big Pine Key.
Lana questioned Coast Guards for delaying the search of the aircraft. When the aircraft failed to arrive at its destination, usually the Coast Guards started their search immediately. But here, this action failed and Lana looked for an explanation from the Coast Guards.
