The Bachelor Clayton Echard and Susie Evans clashed during their overnight date on March 8, episode of The Bachelor. After a long night of conversations on the Fantasy Suite, Susie left for home. This attracted a lot of criticism from the former contestants.
The video producer, 28 revealed that it would be devastating if Clayton had slept with the other 2 finalists before proposing. Susie and Clayton’s date was the third in the episode and Clayton had spent the night with both Gabby and Rachel.
After Clayton admitted to being physically intimate with Rachel and Gabby on their turn on the Fantasy Suite, the 28-year-old told Clayton on the date that she can’t get past those things. “I just don’t think I can,” she added. Susie was completely honest about her feelings for Clayton.

Susie could see Clayton as her partner and have a family with him. Physical intimacy is serious and If he falls in love with another woman and becomes physically intimate she wouldn’t be able to digest the thought. Susie confessed.
The situation messed up Clayton’s head and he accused Susie of invalidating their journey together throughout the season. “I don’t even know who I am looking at anymore,” Clayton told not being in his senses, and sent her home. Clayton wanted her to speak about the “huge dealbreaker” sooner and feels as Susie dropped a “bombshell” on him.
But the former footballer revealed that he was completely rude and out of his senses that night. Clayton admitted on The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast that he deeply regrets how he handled the dilemma. He stressed of him being not handling it maturely.

He further said “I raised my voice to her. I was grasping at straws. I was trying to find anything that I could at that point to get her to stay. Like, I just wanted her to give me a chance. I went through a gauntlet of emotions.” He also talked about his assumptions that he wished he shouldn’t have.
Clayton really mistook Susie and thought he was fed with whatever she needed to get out of there and be the next Bachelorette. Clayton also denied the claims of him gaslighting Susie. He said he was true to her and never have tried to manipulate her for his own benefit.
The Bachelor’s finale which has been split into two parts will air on 14 and 15 of March at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. A preview for next week’s finale sees Clayton admitting that he’s been intimate with both of them and loved them too.
