In a recent interview, Leo Suter talked about how the season ended he said that the characters are left in an interesting place and they are only getting the grip of the Viking world now, so from what Leo Suter has said the battle in the last episode of the first season is only just a beginning of the Viking world and there will be more to Viking and the English Royals that we will be able to see in the coming seasons. Talking about Harald, Leo Suter said, “He’s lost everything.
He thought life was simple. He was a prince and he was going to dance his way into becoming the next King of Norway. But when this series comes to an end, he’s effectively on the run. Leo Suter also talked about a potential romantic relationship between him and Freydis by telling about how their relationship evolved from a simple hookup to a deep relationship in the first season. So if he is talking about it, it might mean we would be able to see more of Harald and Freydis and their relationship growing in the coming season.
It is obvious that out of excitement, audiences won’t able to restrain themselves from searching about what happened to Harald in real and to that, Leo Suter has said not to trust Wikipedia and he has also said that there are hundreds of documents written about Harald, so it will be hard to what really happened.
