Speed actress Sandra revealed her decision to take a lacuna from her acting career. Being a single parent the actress thought it would be wise to change her focus to full-time parenting. The mother of two said “I am just going to take some time to be a mom,” at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas.
When questions were raised in an interview with Entertainment Tonight about her acting career, the actress elaborated, “I take my job very seriously when I’m at work and it is a 24/7 commitment. I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family. That’s where I am gonna be for a while.”

Sandra was married to TV personality and businessman Jesse James when the couple decided to adopt a son born in January 2010. Unfortunately the couple split, but the adoption process was then completed by Sandra Bullock and began raising the child as a single parent. Following that, the actress adopted another child Laila in 2015 and appeared on the cover of People magazine with her 3-year old daughter.
Instead of reading scripts, for the time being, my world revolves around my kids meeting all their needs, she explained. The Academy Award winner was at a screening of her new movie The Lost City at the SXSW festival when questioned about the break she decided to take in her acting journey.
Bullock stated of a phase in her life where she totally lost it and assumed her chance to be a mother had passed. In the interview, the actress said “And then Katrina (hurricane) happened in New Orleans, and I knew. Like, just something told me that my child was there. It was weird. It was very, very weird.” But it didn’t happen immediately.
But four years later she found Louis just like he was always there. “It’s like he had always been there. It’s like he fit in the crook of my arm. He looked me in the eyes, and he was just – wise. My child was wise. The beautiful thing that the actress was constantly told was, ‘The perfect child will find you. You will find your child.’”
Bullock was recently seen at the filming of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert looking chic wearing a pink blazer, black crop top, and multi-colored trousers. The star wore a little make-up and black eyeshadow with hair in loose waves.
