Oscar Winner Renee Zellweger reportedly dates the reality TV star, Ant Anstead.Reports of the newlyweds are coming just days after the actor has finalized the separation of “Flip or Flop” star Christina Haack.
The Romance Did Not Blossom
The two new lovers met working on Anstead’s forthcoming Discovery+ series “Celebrity IOU Joyride,” which is a spin-off from “Property Brothers” Drew and Jonathan Scott’s HGTV popular program “Celebrity IOU.”
Zellweger, 52, reportedly appears in the show. The romance did not blossom until she returned to the set to deliver work boots to her 42-year-old “Wheeler Dealers” alumni, as per sources.
Reps from Anstead and Zellweger did not respond to our inquiries for comments.
This week the judge signed off on the divorce of Haack and Anstead 9 months after the filing of the papers.
The ex-partners, who were married in December of 2018, will share physical and legal custody of their one-year-old son, Hudson. They also possess two sons from their previous weddings.
Haack 37, Haack has announced the couple’s divorce in September of this year and left Anstead devastated.
While the real motive for Anstead and Haack’s separation was never known, the couple were divorced nine months prior to filing.
The HGTV designer had the baby boy in September, and it was three months later when the couple began to separate.
The addition of a baby to the mix is difficult and can alter the dynamics. It’s likely that the couple fell out over ordinary issues, not some attempt to make a name for themselves.
Haack’s divorce petition cited incongruous differences.
Anstead was a guest on his wife’s design program Christina On The Coast, which featured their home life in addition to her business in design.
Anstead is a television presenter on his own and is a regular on car-related reality shows, such as the World’s most expensive cars and Wheeler Dealers.
He doesn’t have the biggest fan base, and he’s not still in showbiz. He doesn’t have the desire to take on the fame and fortune of Zellweger.
Since Anstead and Zellweger first made public announcements that they were the couple, tabloids have been on the case.
Sources have claimed earlier this month that Zellweger was causing trouble for Anstead by displaying “narcissistic behavior.” A different Star article on Zellweger said that the actress’s friends hoped for Tom Cruise to save her from becoming an outcast.
Then, another article said that despite her Oscar award in the category of Judy, Zellweger was lonely and withdrawn.
“Sometimes two people will meet and connect, and it’s the right time,” an insider informed People at the end of last month. “Renee is an artist … as well as frequently is a good choice for men who think outside of the box.
She’s clever and intelligent, always looking to expand her horizons and help the people who surround her.”
His Laguna Beach house, where Anstead and Zellweger were pictured, was an acquisition that was made recently.
The pad was purchased in May following his stay in a studio apartment he rented for a period of 10 months following his divorce from Haack.

“It’s the home that I’ve always wanted,” he told People. “A home is, for me, the base of a person’s life. I’ve got a lot to look forward to in the coming months or the next few years that I’ll require an enduring foundation, and the timing is perfect.”
He is planning to live there with Hudson as well as his young son, who lives with Haack, and also to complete the renovation himself.
