Season 3 of Who Killed Sara is now available on Netflix! The Spanish Netflix series Who Killed Sara looks into the murder of an adolescent girl, Sara Guzmán, who falls from a parachute while paragliding with her lover, Rodolfo Lazcano, her brother, Alex, and other friends from the same group.
What drew viewers’ interest in Season 1 was a plot organized by Cesar, the patriarch of the Lazcano family and putative protagonist of the series. Cesar coerced Alex into accepting blame for Sara’s death in order to shield his boys from arrest, and as a result of her confession, Alex was sentenced to 18 years in jail, burning every day with a thirst for vengeance.
What Was In The Last Two Seasons Of Who Killed Sara?
The first two seasons were mostly centered on the contentious connection between the Guzman and Lazcano families, which was heightened by multiple flashbacks. The narrative ran the risk of going overboard with the dark aspects related to Sara’s adolescence near the end of the second season.
The girl dies at the age of 17. Still, she demonstrates that she has gone through painful experiences ranging from meeting her psychotic father to her connection with her father, Rudolph, to her unexpected pregnancy. Given her early age, it seemed unlikely that she had had the opportunity to encounter so many diverse tragedies.
From this perspective, the third season of Who Killed Sara takes a really excellent turn. There are several plot twists, as seen in the trailer. Rather than focusing on the circumstances leading up to Sara’s death, the plot digs into what occurs shortly thereafter. We also observe the growth of two new characters: Nicander and Doctor Alanis.
Their stories are astounding, with well-crafted surprises. Instead, during the first few moments, the Lazcano family takes a back place. Who Killed Sara? It is based on their rivalry and intimate friendship with the Guzmans. This topic will most likely be reprised as we near the end. Instead, it is a wise decision to lay aside this narrative for the time being in order to study unforeseen issues in the initial episodes.
Cast And Crew Of New Season
In flashback, Lex (Manolo Cardona) will appear beside his deceased sibling Sara (Ximena Lamadrid).
Rodolfo (Alejandro Nones), Elisa (Carolina Miranda), and José Mara aka ‘Chema’ (Eugenio Siller), the Lazcano children and their parents César (Ginés Garca Millán) and Mariana (Claudia Ramrez), Sara’s closest friend Marifer (Litzy) and her sister Clara (Fátima Molina), and Rodolfo’s buddy Nicandro.
Alejandro Nones told Showbiz Cheat Sheet that the series’ popularity astonished him. “I didn’t expect something like this,” he said. “Of course, I thought to myself during the filming, ‘I’m doing something extraordinary.’ I’m doing something critical for my career. Yes, we’re accomplishing something incredible.’ But not to the rest of the world.”
Release Date
Seasons one and two aired this year (March and May, respectively) after being shot concurrently in 2020. The good news is that season three is already in production, as confirmed by the cast and crew in a flurry of tweets in October. With season three in the works, additional episodes should be available in the first half of 2022.
Plot
As previously stated, the identity of Sara’s murderer remains unknown, implying that the story will proceed in much the same manner. Marifer, Sara’s half-sister, was the one who cut the parachute harness, we now know.

But, according to Nicandro’s phone chat with “Doctor,” that wasn’t the reason she died. That talk revealed that they were to blame for her death, but were they? Given the numerous twists and turns that characterized the first two seasons, we wouldn’t bet our last dime on it.
