The DC Fandom went wild after Warner Bros. put aside the next bat girl movie on HBO Max even after filming is almost done. While a large number of fans started to speculate about what other projects the studio might be cancelling, many people, on the other hand, became extremely furious. Some of them even asked the studio why they continued bat girl when there were movies like Glow whose actor is embroiled in massive legal trouble.

Amid the Batgirl controversy, one of the biggest questions from fans is why did they go for Batgirl in the first place when there was a movie with an actor who is legally a criminal now. Some even added a racist angle to the whole fiasco saying that the Glow The film is spared because actor Ezra Miller has white skin.
