All anime lovers and followers of recent top Reddit posts know Kill La Kill. It is an anime series written by Kazuki Nakashima and directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi for Studio Trigger.
Imasihi and Nakashima had previously collaborated on Gurren Lagann (2007) and again in 2019 while working on Promare.
In Kill La Kill, series protagonist and 17-year-old student Ryoka Matoi transfers to Honnouji Academy to search for the person responsible for her father’s murder, Isshin Matoi.
The Japanese anime television program that debuted in 2013 saw Ryoka encounter a violent altercation with Satsuki Kiryuin, the student council president, with unwavering determination.
Another important character in the series is a hyperactive and clumsy student, Mako Mankanshoku. Although these three main characters have donned multiple Goku uniforms throughout the series, each character has a distinctive outfit that is easily recognizable. During cosplay, people dress up as one of three characters.
At the time of the anime’s poster release, the “shirt cut” hype circulated on social media, known as Kill La Kill Cosplay Anime. It’s basically a way of wearing the shirt, revealing your body parts in a certain way.
Alina Becker, who has already mastered several cosplays, has been correlated with this trend and is called Shirt Cut Meme in real life. She donned Satsuki Kiryuin’s outfit when cosplaying (see image below).
