It’s no secret to fans that many capable VFX artists have left Marvel for unavoidable reasons.
And the degradation in quality can be seen in the trailers. Well, there’s still time for this series to come out, and Marvel expects it to make improvements to the actual show.
Does She-Hulk represent the actual plot of the comic?
Die-hard Marvel fans are familiar with the comic plot of She-Hulk. According to the Earth-616 comics, Bruce Banner, cousin of Jennifer Walters, had to transfuse her blood through her veins to save her from a life-death situation..
As a result, gamma radiation in Bruce’s blood transforms Jennifer into the She-Hulk. And then the whole training and mentoring journey follows.
But according to Marvel’s new She-Hulk series, where Tatiana Maslany, playing Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, and Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner meet an accident.
There’s news that Marvel is alternating the plot, and we’ll likely see Jeniffer transfusing Bruce with blood to save his life.
How does this plot do Meaning?
We’ve all seen Bruce in the post-credits scenes of Shang-Chi – Legend of the Ten Rings. He was in his human form. Thus, an incident could have forced Bruce to return to his human form, which caused a car accident.
To save his life, Jennifer had to transfuse his blood through his veins and in doing so, his blood was exposed to gamma rays. And Jeniffer became She-Hulk.
In an alternate belief, we can also conclude that Bruce Banner reverted to his human form just to accomplish the precise comic plot of saving his sister’s life.
There was a hint that Marvel was planning to alternate the storyline from that of the comics. And if it’s true, the writers have to make it believable with a lot of fluidity and impact.
