Rumor has it that Marvel is even considering casting its first non-binary character in the upcoming Ironheart movie, increasing the representation of historically underrepresented groups of individuals. Ironheart casts the MCU’s first non-binary actor

Shea Couleé will join the cast of Ironheart, a Marvel Studios film slated for release in fall 2023, according to Deadline. The actor becomes the first non-binary actor to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe within Marvel Studios thanks to their inclusion in the Disney+ series.

Couleé recently won RuPaul’s Drag Race, although their exact role on the show is now unknown. On Twitter, they expressed their excitement at being a part of this fantastic project” alongside Marvel Studios in response to the news.
