Felicia Taylor also made up her origin as being from the Colony Hotel when speaking with the police. She told the cops she was coming from the Colony Hotel despite it being closed that day. She denied driving after using drugs or alcohol. Nevertheless, the police noted that she did not smell of alcohol.
Felicia Taylor claimed it was her problem and no one but her automobile was damaged. She added that she did not stop after hitting the automobile because she did not believe the collision was particularly significant. She disputed all charges. Despite the fact that Felicia was detained by police officers and sent to the Palm Beach County Jail. She was charged with reckless driving and fled the scene of the collision.
