Disean Jaquae Victor, also known as rapper Young Slo Be, was fatally shot early Friday in Manteca, California.
Police discovered the rapper’s death early Friday morning at an apartment near Trevino Avenue and West Center Street.

The young Slo-Be is pictured visiting a store in Stockton which sold his hoodies and t-shirts in what would turn out to be his final Instagram post.
People reportedly gathered outside the store early Friday to buy Young Slo-Be items.

Young Slo Be, a late rapper, was 29 when he died of a gunshot wound. He was originally from Stockton and came to prominence in 2018 with his song “Smurkish Wayz”.
The young Slo-Be grew up often listening to his father rap and watching his uncle pursue a career in music in San Diego. However, none of these people found success outside of their home country.
The rapper claims his bond with his father never extended beyond sharing the gene pool.
He did, however, claim that his mother did her best to provide him with a positive role model and keep him out of trouble.
The young Slo-Be states that he was not inspired to pursue a career in music until he entered his father’s recording studio.
The rapper then used the open studio door to record a song he had written while his father was away. He started taking things more seriously in 2018.
