Scarlet Witch Still Has A Secret Power Never Used In The MCU

Marvel Cinematic Universe has brought to life Scarlet Witch, one of the most powerful and fearsome mutants capable of single-handedly ending Thanos and other superheroes. Fans think they’ve seen the extent of her prowess, but that’s not the case – she still has a skill Marvel fans have yet to witness.

When Wanda Maximoff debuted in X-Men #4, they’ve already shown the level of powers she possesses, and it’s anything her hand touches is cursed to her liking. Hexagons are her most well-known powers, but she is also a great magician in the early stories. On top of that, Wanda revealed an ability no one has ever seen.

So what is Scarlet Witch’s secret power?

Wanda gets rejected after applying as a singer

At Marvel Avengers #22 by Stan Lee and Don Heck, the Avengers team was forced to part ways after being set up for a number of crimes in New York. To make ends meet, each member went to look for a job. Scarlet Witch and her brother Pietro alias Quicksilver found themselves in a circus after many refusals.

Wanda actually applied as a singer but was turned down due to her reputation. Despite this, it’s telling that Wanda has the vocal pipes to sing tunes. She wouldn’t volunteer for this if she didn’t trust her voice.

It would have been a spectacle to see Wanda sing on screen. But since the mighty witch is presumed dead, we don’t know if we can still get a singing Scarlet Witch. If MCU resurrects Wanda, fans would love to see her exercise those vocal cords. Who knows what strength or damage this may create – we might witness another of Wanda’s untapped powers!
